I searched for words to describe what I experienced today and this song came to mind. “I knew this was Jesus”. I felt His spirit touch my heart. Glory to God! Amen!

There’s metal and there’s metal. It really doesn’t matter what you lable it as, it’s still metal. If it’s fast, slow, aggressive, melow, moody, melodic. It’s not to everyone’s liking and some like this metal and not that metal. Point is I enjoy metal. Listening to it right now. A song which is rich in diversity with clean guitars, heavy guitars, heavy drumming, raspy vocals and nice melodies, Blind Guardian.

Thanks to the lovely program with which you can listen to music for free I’ve had the chance to find bands I’ve lost touch with and their new stuff. It’s quite excellent! The thing that originally drew me to this type of music was hanging out in my brother’s room and he’d always have som metal on. I used to like the guitarsolos and at some point started to want to be able to play them… nostalgia. ah the lovely 80’s hard rock bands.

Well a little different this time. Not so much deep thinking about life stuff but just appreciating music and this time this particular kind of music.

Ps. Dream Theater Rocked in Helsinki and people who like that sort of music might want to check out “Dominici” DT’s old singer’s band. and maybe James Labrie’s solo stuff too.
